Chris Gbandi (born April 7, 1979 in Bong Mines ) is a Liberian national soccer player who has been a US citizen since 2001.
Gbandi first played from 1998 to 2001 at the University of Connecticut . In 2000 he received the Hermann Trophy for best college player. In January 2002 there was a move to FC Dallas . Here he was initially absent for the entire year 2002 because of a cruciate ligament tear in late 2001 . From 2003 Gbandi played regularly and was able to fight for a regular place. In 2008 he signed a contract with the Norwegian second division club FK Haugesund .
In 2010 he returned to the USA and has since played for Miami FC ( Fort Lauderdale Strikers from 2011 ).
