Chris Grech (born August 23, 1982 in Santa Luċija ) is a Maltese singer and songwriter .
Life
Chris Grech was born on August 23, 1982 in Santa Luċija, Malta . He taught himself to sing and began playing guitar as a teenager. He joined the band Twenty-Six Other-Worlds as a singer and released the album Manipulated with them in 2011 , which received very good reviews. The singer claims that he specializes in the rock genre . Grech performed at Maltese events such as Xirka Rock or Istrina . In 2013 he took part in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and reached fifth place with the song Never Walk Away , which was written by Matthew James Borg and the singer himself. The following year the singer took part again with the song Closed Doors and reached the semi-finals, which took place on November 21, 2014 at Marsa Shipbuilding in Marsa , Malta. There he reached fourth place with 35 points.
