Christopher Scott Hastings , called Chris Hastings (born August 17, 1964 in Hanover , New Hampshire ) is a former American ski jumper .
Hastings began jumping in the Ski Jumping World Cup in the 1984/85 season . He achieved a total of six World Cup points in his first season and was 53rd in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the season.
In the following years he could not achieve any more points. He competed in his last World Cup competitions as part of the Four Hills Tournament in 1986/87 .
Hastings ended his active ski jumping career with the start of the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary . He reached 49th place from the large hill.
