The Ski Jumping World Cup 1984/85 (official name: FIS World Cup Ski Jumping 1984/85 ) was a series of ski jumping competitions held by the FIS World Ski Association between December 8, 1984 and March 24, 1985 at 17 different locations in Europe, North America and Asia. Originally, 23 individual competitions were planned. Two competitions had to be canceled without replacement, so that 21 individual competitions were included in the rating. The victory in the overall standings was won for the second time this season by the Finn Matti Nykänen , followed by the two Austrians Andreas Felder and Ernst Vettori in second and third place . The East German defending champion Jens Weißflog took fourth place. Team Finland, which had already been victorious in the previous year, won the Nations Cup ahead of Austria and Norway.

Ratings

World Cup points were awarded for places 1 to 15 (1st place = 25 points, 2nd place = 20 points, 3rd place = 15 points, from 4th to 15th place, 12 points to 1 point, descending). There were struck out results. To this end, the season was divided into two halves. From the competitions in December and January only the five best results of an athlete were counted. From the competitions in February and March, the six best results of an athlete were evaluated, with a maximum of five competitions being evaluated from the competitions of the second half of the season before the season finale in Štrbské Pleso.

For the nation ranking, all points were taken into account (no deletion results).

Points that were deducted from a jumper as a cancellation result are indicated in brackets, if applicable.
