Career

On December 30, 1984 Reymond jumped for the first time in the Ski Jumping World Cup and finished the first jump to the Four Hills Tournament 1984/85 in Oberstdorf with the 65th place. The other jumps of the tour were largely unsuccessful. It was not until January 8, 1985, that he was able to jump into the points for the first time in Cortina d'Ampezzo and finally reached 14th place. The following 1985/86 season started promisingly with a 10th place in Chamonix . However, it was the highest ranking of the season and also the only one within the points. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987in Oberstdorf Reymond reached the 36th place on the normal hill and 49th place on the large hill. After the World Cup, he jumped into the points in both World Cup competitions in Lahti and ended the 1986/87 World Cup season in 39th place in the overall standings. The following two years were unsuccessful for Reymond. For this reason he ended his active ski jumping career after the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1989 , where he reached 43rd place on the normal hill and 42nd place on the large hill.
