Career

Fischer jumped annually between 1978 and 1988 in the Four Hills Tournament . In doing so, however, he was never able to achieve top positions. However, he was able to win his first and only World Cup points in his only World Cup competition outside the tour in Lake Placid on December 15, 1984 with 12th place on the normal hill. In the end, with these points, he finished 64th in the overall ranking of the 1984/85 World Cup season .

Fischer competed twice at world championships. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol , he jumped from the normal hill to 43rd and from the large hill to 46th place. In 1987 in Oberstdorf he only reached 65th place on the normal hill and 61st place on the large hill.

After Fischer achieved positions 19 and 22 at the Czech Marusarzówna Memorial in 1988, he returned to a higher level a few weeks later. However, he only finished penultimate place at the ski flying world championship in 1988 from the Heini-Klopfer ski flying hill in Oberstdorf. The Hungarian ended his active ski jumping career with 90th place in the World Cup jumping in Planica at the end of March 1989.
