The Ski Jumping World Cup 1999/2000 (official name: FIS World Cup Ski Jumping 1999-2000 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS discharged between 27 November 1999 and 19 March 2000 to 18 different locations in Europe, Asia and North America series of competitions in ski jumping . Originally, it was planned to hold 27 individual and three team competitions. One individual competition had to be canceled without replacement, so that 26 individual competitions were included in the evaluation. The German defending champion Martin Schmitt won the overall standings this season , followed by Austrian Andreas Widhölzl and Finn Janne Ahonen in second and third place . Martin Schmitt won the ski jumping discipline ranking, which was held for the last time, ahead of Andreas Widhölzl and the defending champion Janne Ahonen. The German Sven Hannawald was able to secure the victory in the ski flying class ahead of Janne Ahonen and the Norwegian Tommy Ingebrigtsen . Last year's winner of this discipline, Martin Schmitt, took 14th place. Finland won the national ranking ahead of the teams from Austria and Germany , the defending team Japan finished fourth.
