Bruno Reuteler (born April 2, 1971 in Saanen ) is a former Swiss ski jumper .

Career

Reuteler completed his first World Cup on January 17th, 1992 in St. Moritz , where he reached 54th place on the normal hill. He finished his first World Cup season in 1992/93 with 7 points and 46th place overall. On March 16, 1997 he achieved his best individual result so far with 3rd place in jumping on the large hill in Oslo . Only one year later on March 15th, 1998 he was able to increase this result again and achieved a 2nd place on the same hill.

At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , Reuteler achieved 18th place in individual jumping on the normal hill and 19th place on the large hill. In the team competition he and the Swiss team together with Sylvain Freiholz , Marco Steinauer and Simon Ammann came in 6th.

After the Olympic Games, there were no great successes. He was only able to achieve a few top 10 positions in team competitions and top 20 positions in individual competitions. After he was again on the team for the ski flying competition in Planica on March 18, 2000 , he ended his active career.
