Tore S. Sneli (born January 27, 1980 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Sneli jumped in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup (COC) between 1997 and 2002 . In the first season he was still unsuccessful. In 1998 he became Norwegian champion with the team in Trondheim . In the 1998/99 season he achieved a good position in the overall Continental Cup ranking for the first time with 21st place. On March 14, 1999, after another good COC season, he jumped in Oslo for the first time in a ski jumping World Cup . He reached the 47th place on the normal hill. In 2000 he again jumped three competitions in the World Cup. He achieved two World Cup points in Iron Mountain and Oslo with 29th place. With a total of four points, he finished 76th in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the 1999/00 World Cup season. After two more unsuccessful years in the Continental Cup, he ended his active ski jumping career in 2002.

Tore Sneli is the twin brother of Arne Sneli , who was also active as a ski jumper.
