The Ski Jumping World Cup 1981/82 (official name: FIS Ski Jumping World Cup 1981/82 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS between 20 December 1981 and 28 March 1982 discharged at 14 different locations in Europe, Asia and North America series of competitions in ski jumping . 22 individual competitions were planned, two of which had to be canceled in advance. Ratings
World Cup points were awarded for places 1 to 15 (1st place = 25 points, 2nd place = 20 points, 3rd place = 15 points, from 4th to 15th place, 12 points to 1 point, descending). There were struck out results. To this end, the season was divided into two halves. From the competitions in December and January only the seven best results of an athlete were counted. The five best results of an athlete were counted from the competitions in February and March. A special regulation existed for the three ski flying competitions in Bad Mitterndorf / Tauplitz: for athletes who achieved the points in all three competitions, the worst placement was treated as a discarded result.
