Harald Duschk (born May 5, 1956 in Thale ) is a former German ski jumper who achieved his greatest successes for the GDR at the end of the 1970s.

Career

Showerk started for the SC Motor Zella-Mehlis . He won GDR championship titles several times. In 1977, 1978 and 1980 he won gold on the normal hill and silver in 1981. On the large hill showerk won the GDR championship title in 1979. With the team of SC Motor Zella-Mehlis, which also included Rainer Schmidt , Bernd Eckstein and J. Eckstein, he took third place in the team competition at the GDR championships in 1976 .

At the 32nd Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti , showerk won the team competition together with Jochen Danneberg , Henry Glaß and Matthias Buse , which was held for the first time at these world championships as a demonstration competition without medals being awarded. He achieved his greatest success in 1978 with first place at the legendary Holmenkollbakken in Oslo.

From 1979 to 1980 he held the hill record on the Aschbergschanze in Klingenthal .
