Józef Przybyła (born January 29, 1945 in Bystra , † March 21, 2009 in Buczkowice ) was a Polish ski jumper .

Career

Przybyła started in 1963 in the Four Hills Tournament . At the Four Hills Tournament in Partenkirchen and Innsbruck in 1963/64 , he took 3rd place and in the end 7th place in the overall tournament ranking. In the ski jumping world rankings , he reached fourth place in the 1963/64 season. A year later, despite only taking third place in Innsbruck, he was able to reach fifth place in the tour rating. Before that, at the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 he reached 18th place on the normal hill and ninth place on the large hill. At the Four Hills Tournament 1966/67 he was able to place himself in the top ten in the overall standings with ninth place. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , he reached the 27th place on the normal hill and 14th place on the large hill. After he was able to win the friendship's tournament in 1970 , he ended his active ski jumping career in 1971.

In his career, Przybyła won a total of six titles at national championships. He was Polish champion on the normal hill in 1964, 1966, 1967 and 1969 and on the medium hill in 1964 and 1966. He was runner-up on the large hill in 1965 and 1969.
