Christoph Schwarz (* 1959 ) is a former German ski jumper . As early as 1975, at the age of 15, he became Bavarian Senior Champion. 1977 German youth champion and 8th in the Junior World Championship. He finished the Junior Alpine Cup with only a few participations as the overall runner-up of the season. In 1976, black was accepted into the national team under national coach Ewald Roscher . In his first few years he only jumped to the back of the Four Hills Tournament . On December 30, 1980, he jumped for the first time in the ski jumping World Cup . He won his first two World Cup points with 14th place in Oberstdorf . During the 1980/81 season, Schwarz actually wanted to end his career because he had sustained serious injuries in various falls. After recovery he became German runner-up in 1981. In the same year he was the best German participant 15th at the Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf. At the Four Hills Tournament 1981/82 he reached 4th place. This was the best placement for a West German ski jumper since the 1960s. He achieved the best individual placement at the 1982 World Cup with 3rd place in Sapporo. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 he reached 26th place from the normal hill. He finished the World Cup season 1981/82 in 23rd place overall. After he could not achieve his big goal of participating in the Olympic Games in 1984, he ended his active ski jumping career in 1984.

After his active career, Schwarz became a trainer and supervisor at his home club WSV Oberaudorf 05. There he is also active as a junior competition director.
