Jon Petter Sandaker (born February 24, 1974 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

On December 3, 1995, Sandaker jumped for the first time in the ski jumping World Cup . In his adopted home Lillehammer , he achieved 42nd place in jumping from the large hill. A good two years later on November 29, 1997 he was able to win World Cup points for the first time on the same hill and also achieve the best result of his career with 4th place. At the ski flying world championship in 1998 in Oberstdorf , he came in 33rd place. At the Norwegian Ski Jumping Championship in 1998, he only had to admit defeat to Kristian Brenden on the large hill in Trondheim , and in the end he won the silver medal. He finished the 1997/98 World Cup season after further jumping into the points in the end in 28th place in the overall standings. In the following seasons 1998/99 and 1999/2000 he could only achieve points in three competitions, which is why he completed his last competition on February 19, 2000 at Kulm . In ski flying he reached 47th place.
