Nicolas Dessum (born February 20, 1977 in Lyon ) is a former French ski jumper .

Career

He started jumping in 1983 and has competed in the World Cup since 1993 and is, despite a Didier Mollard , the most successful ski jumper in France of all time. From an international perspective, too, he is at least one of the world's best.

In 1995 he finished 5th in the overall ranking of the Four Hills Tournament and he also won a World Cup in Sapporo that year. In the overall standings he came in 12th place in the 1994/95 season. In the 1998/99 season he finished 14th in the overall World Cup standings, one season later it was still 19th place. In addition, he is multiple French champion . From the 2000/2001 season, however, the good results did not materialize and in 2006 he ended his career.

In 2007 Dessum became head of the new training center in Courchevel .
