Wilhelm Brenna (born October 8, 1979 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Brenna won in 1997 at the Junior World Championship in Canada Canmore the gold medal on the normal hill. He was then accepted into the senior national team after the World Cup and jumped the last three World Cup competitions in the 1996/97 World Cup season . With a 19th place in Lahti and a 13th place in Kuopio , he was able to achieve the best result in the overall World Cup with 61st place. The 13th place in Kuopio was the highest ranking in his career. In 1998 he won the bronze medal in the team competition at the Norwegian Championships in Trondheim together with Kjell Erik Sagbakken , Tore Sneli and Stian Kvarstad . After the following seasons were rather unsuccessful and he jumped behind the world's best, he started at the same time in the Continental Cup (COC). In the 1998/99 season he was able to achieve his best result with 3rd place in the overall ranking. After the results of the 1999/2000 season in the World Cup and Continental Cup were disappointing, he ended his active ski jumping career after completing both series.
