Kjell Erik Sagbakken (born December 5, 1970 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .
Career
Sagbakken jumped in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup between 1993 and 2002 . On February 18, 1995 he was nominated for ski flying as part of the Ski Jumping World Cup in Vikersund and reached 41st place. In 1998 he was nominated again for ski flying in Vikersund and was able to win World Cup points for the first time with a 21st place in the second competition on March 1, 1998. Shortly afterwards, he was able to win the bronze medal with the team at the Norwegian Championships in Trondheim . The 1998/99 season was the most successful for Sagbakken in the Continental Cup. In the overall standings, he finished the season in 11th place. In addition, he was able to jump into the points several times in the World Cup and finished the World Cup season 1998/99 in 64th place in the overall World Cup ranking. On March 12, 2000 Sagbakken jumped his last World Cup competition in Oslo , which he finished in 48th. He then competed unsuccessfully for two more years of jumping in the Continental Cup before ending his active ski jumping career in 2002.
