Stian Kvarstad (born January 25, 1973 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Kvarstad began his international career in the Continental Cup (COC) in 1992 . In his first season of this series, he reached 30th place overall with 30 points. On March 11, 1993, he made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup in Lillehammer . He reached the 41st place on the large hill. In the following two years he was unable to achieve any success in the Continental Cup and mostly ended up only in the rear. He was also unsuccessful in the World Cup competitions in his native Norway, for which he was nominated annually. Only in 1996 did he make it into the points in Lillehammer with 29th place. In the Continental Cup season 1997/98 he was able to increase his performance significantly and ended the season in 8th place in the overall standings with a total of 538 points. For this reason he was a permanent member of the World Cup team from February 1998. In ski flying in Vikersund , he reached 7th place on February 28, 1998, his highest individual placement in a World Cup competition. In the second ski flying World Cup a day later, he also landed within the points. In the following three World Cup competitions in Kuopio and Lahti , however, he remained unsuccessful and pointless. At the end of the season he was in 50th place in the overall World Cup ranking. It was his last World Cup season. For the 1998/99 season he started again in the Continental Cup, but remained unsuccessful there and ended his active career as a ski jumper in 1999.
