The 1999/2000 Nordic Combined World Cup season began on December 9, 1999 in Vuokatti, Finland and ended on March 17, 2000 in Santa Caterina, Italy . With its originally planned 21 World Cup races, the season was the longest since the Nordic Combined World Cup series began.
The overall ranking was won for the second time after the 1996/97 season by the Finn Samppa Lajunen . With eight World Cup victories, he was able to relegate the Norwegian Bjarte Engen Vik , who celebrated five wins, to second place. Third was the Czech Ladislav Rygl , for whom his success in Liberec was the last of his career.
With the victory in Vuokatti , Ronny Ackermann achieved the first German World Cup success in almost 13 years.
