= Alternative venue for Ruhpolding
= The originally planned competition in the Gundersen method was held as a mass start due to a broken inrun track and strong winds. The 10 km cross-country skiing was held on January 19, 2008, while the ski jumping had to be postponed to the following day due to persistent winds.
= The first jump round was held the day before. The second round had to be canceled on January 27, 2008 due to strong gusts of wind and the competition was held as a sprint.
= Due to the persistent strong wind, the originally planned competition in the Gundersen method was held as a mass start so that the jumping could be postponed to the afternoon.
= Due to the forecast of strong winds for the following day, the first of the two jumps for the Gundersen competition on Saturday was completed on March 7th. The jump for the sprint on March 9th was therefore brought forward.
