The 2007/08 B World Cup in Nordic Combined was a series of competitions in Nordic Combined organized by the FIS World Federation . The foundation for the Nordic Combined World Cup 2007/08 was held for the 18th time in that season, but the last time under the name "B-World Cup". The season comprised ten stations in Europe , Asia and North America , although the competitions at two venues had to be canceled. The season began on December 14, 2007 in Høydalsmo, Norway and ended on March 16, 2008 in Pragelato, Italy . Overall winner was the Austrian Marco Pichlmayer , who also won the Sprint Cup. Germany won the Nations Cup .
A point system for the races determined the B-World Cup overall rankings. To this end, the points achieved by an athlete from the individual competitions and from the team sprint of the season were added. In addition, positive or negative surcharge calculations were included in the individual evaluations. In addition, only one athlete who was not eligible for the A World Cup in the last period could become the overall winner. This rule affected twelve combiners, including multiple competition winner David Zauner .
The sum of the three competitors with the best points per competition from one and the same ski association was used together with the points from the team competitions for the national ranking. In the team competitions, the two best results per nation in the team sprint and the best result per nation in team competitions were evaluated.
