Giuseppe Michielli (born May 23, 1985 in Gemona del Friuli ) is an Italian Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Michielli is a member of the Fiamme Oro police sports group of the Italian Polizia di Stato , since 2000 in the national team of the Italian winter sports association FISI and a member of the Italian World Cup group.

He has been at the start of the Nordic Combined B World Cup since December 2001 and has so far won one race (sprint in Eisenerz on March 9, 2008). He made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on February 11, 2005, and his best result in an individual competition so far is 11th in the Gundersen competition in Seefeld in Tyrol on January 31, 2010.

At the 2005 World Championships in Oberstdorf , Michielli was 30th in the sprint and 26th in the Gundersen competition. He had good successes at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , where he finished 14th as the best Italian in the Gundersen competition and 16th in the sprint.
