1The competitions in Oberwiesenthal were initially supposed to take place on December 19 and 20, 2019, but had to be canceled. A few days later it was announced that the two Gundersen singles would be made up on January 11 and 12, 2020.
2Three competitions, including a mass start, should actually be held in Klingenthal. Ultimately, however, the mass start had to be canceled at short notice and the venue for cross-country skiing changed as it was not possible to prepare the trail due to the lack of snow in Klingenthal. The runs took place in the Rennsteig arena in Oberhof . This resulted in the first Gundersen competition being split over two days, so that the ski jump was held on Friday, while the associated cross-country skiing was only held on Sunday. This was due to the distance between Klingenthal and Oberhof.
3The first individual competition in Eisenerz was supposed to be held according to the Gundersen method . However, after the wind was too strong, the jump round was canceled on Friday and a mass start was carried out instead. Cross-country skiing took place on Friday, before the final jump round was held on Saturday before the mixed team competition.
4th Originally the final competition was supposed to be carried out with two jumps and a cross-country skiing over 15 kilometers, but the jumping could not take place due to strong winds, so that the provisional competition round on Friday was used.
