Tess Arnone (born October 13, 2003 in Steamboat Springs , Colorado ) is an American Nordic combined skier .

Career

Arnone, who starts for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club , made her international debut on January 30, 2018 at the unofficial junior competition as part of the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Kandersteg , where she finished 28th. At the end of August 2018, she started in the Youth Cup in Oberstdorf , where she also only reached ranks in the midfield. She made her Continental Cup debut on December 14, 2018 at the competition in Steamboat Springs , where she finished eighth. On the following weekend, Arnone competed in Park City in the Continental Cup, but did not take part in any other stations. She finished the season in 15th place overall. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Lahti , she finished 31st.

In the absence of last year's winner Tara Geraghty-Moats , Arnone won the silver medal at the national championship in Park City in July 2019, which was awarded in the mass start. At the start of the 2019/20 season , she started again in the Continental Cup. Arnone finished 14th at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne .
