Career

She made her international debut six years later on August 10, 2008 as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Bischofsgrün . After jumping behind the top jumpers in the first competitions without success, she was able to win her first points at the beginning of the winter season 2008/09 in Park City . After winning two more points in Vancouver, she paused from January 2009 to January 2011 before returning to the Continental Cup. After she was disqualified in Schonach and only reached places 31 and 43 in Hinterzarten , she jumped into the top twenty for the first time in Braunlage . On January 22nd and 23rd, 2011, she narrowly missed a top 10 placement in Ljubno with two eleventh places.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää , Estonia , Henrich von der Normalschanze achieved 25th place. In February 2011 she managed to jump into the points again in Ramsau am Dachstein before jumping to 18th place at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo .

On December 3, 2011 Henrich made her debut in the newly created ski jumping world cup for women. In Lillehammer , with 23rd place, she immediately achieved a place in the World Cup points. Despite this success she was still used in the Continental Cup team and reached 27th and 28th place in Notodden . After two unsuccessful World Cup competitions in Hinterzarten , Henrich received the nomination for the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck in January 2012 . There she won bronze with the team and reached fifth place in the individual on the normal hill. Four weeks after the Games started Henrich at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Turkey's Erzurum and reached after two mediocre jumps to 17th place.

After she competed unsuccessfully in the Ski Jumping Grand Prix in Courchevel and Hinterzarten in summer 2012 , she achieved two good results in the Summer Continental Cup. At the Grand Prix show jumping in Almaty , she also won her first points in this summer series, which meant that Henrich was 24th overall.

After Henrich in November 2012 only mediocre in the World Cup season 2012/13 was started, she reached in Russian Sochi with space 12 was completed, a place in the top twenty. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme Henrich jumped from the normal hill to 41st place.

In the summer of 2013 and also in the World Cup that followed , Henrich achieved results among the top ten. At the 2014 Olympic premiere of women's ski jumping in Sochi, she took 13th place.

At the two COC competitions in Falun on January 18, 2018 , she achieved her first podium with second place and then her first victory in the Continental Cup. A week later she jumped on the podium for the first time in a World Cup competition in Oberstdorf when she finished third. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, she finished fifth on the normal hill. In the final competition of the 2014/15 World Cup season on the large hill in Oslo , she came third again. In the overall World Cup ranking she finished 15th. She was unable to confirm these good results in the years that followed. Her best placement since then and only placement in the top ten was a fifth place in Nizhny Tagil in December 2015.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , she took 16th place in the individual competition and 12th place in the mixed team competition.
