Westvold Hansen, who competes for the IL Nansen , made her international debut in September 2015 as part of the Youth Cup in Oberstdorf . In the 2016/17 season she took part in six of eight Youth Cup competitions and, after two wins in Harrachov , was able to take third place in the overall standings behind Jenny Nowak and Triinu Hausenberg .
On January 20, 2018, Westvold Hansen made her debut in Rena in the newly created Continental Cup and was able to place herself on ranks 7 and 5. At the end of the season in April, she won the Norwegian championship title in the Gundersen singles for the first time . In the winter of 2018/19 , Westvold Hansen started at all stations of the Continental Cup, reached the podium in nine of eleven competitions and mostly only had to admit defeat to Tara Geraghty-Moats . On December 20, 2018, she achieved something historic in Park City when she became the first Norwegian to win a competition. She finished the overall standings in second place. Westvold Hansen won the silver medal behind Ayane Miyazaki from Japan at the first official junior women's competition at the 2019 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Lahti .
In preparation for the 2019/20 winter season, Westvold Hansen also took part in international ski jumping competitions. After taking part in the FIS Cup in Szczyrk, Poland, at the beginning of July , she made her debut a week later in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Shchuchinsk , Kazakhstan , where she won both competitions. She was then nominated for the Ski Jumping Grand Prix in Hinterzarten at the end of July 2019 , where she won her first Grand Prix points when she reached 22nd place and ultimately took 32nd place in the overall ranking. At the end of August, Hansen started in the Nordic Combined Grand Prix for the first time . In the mixed team competition, which was held for the first time, she took second place behind the Italian relay in Oberwiesenthal together with Magnus Krog , Marte Leinan Lund and Harald Johnas Riiber . Finally, Hansen won her first Grand Prix competition in Oberhof . In the overall ranking she reached fifth place. A few weeks later she was nominated for Norway's first female national squad. At the start of the winter, she finished second behind Tara Geraghty-Moats twice on the Continental Cup weekend in Park City . At the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Prémanon , Westvold Hansen narrowly missed the medal ranks in fourth. She achieved this together with Sebastian Østvold , Nora Midtsundstad , Iver Olaussen , Maria Hartz Melling and Nikolai Holmboe by winning the Nordic mixed team competition. After celebrating her second Contiental Cup victory in Eisenerz at the end of February , she started ten days later as the favorite at the Nordic Junior Ski World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal. With the second best jumping performance, she went on the trail , 26 seconds behind Jenny Nowak , but could not catch up with Nowak and thus won silver as in the previous year.
