Skoglund, who starts Molde Og omegn if , made his international debut on March 14, 2017 in the Youth Cup in Trondheim , where he emerged as the winner. Before and afterwards he started mainly at the national level in the Norges Cup. When he made his Continental Cup debut in Planica in February 2018 , he immediately achieved a top place in tenth place. Nevertheless, after this weekend, he did not start again in international competitions until the following season. He took part in the Continental Cup again in January 2019 and was able to convince with good results again. Therefore he was nominated for the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Lahti , where he was not used in the sprint. Instead, he showed his skills as fifth in the individual using the Gundersen method . In addition, together with Kasper Moen Flatla , Jens Lurås Oftebro and Andreas Skoglund, he won the silver medal in the team competition behind the German relay. On March 9, 2019, he was appointed to the World Cup team for the first time in his home town of Trondheim , but missed the points with rank 39. In the summer of 2019 he also competed in the Grand Prix at the highest level, again without points. In January 2020 he started again in the second-rate Continental Cup , where he regularly achieved good placements, which, however, lagged behind the outstanding results of the Norwegian teammates. At the end of February 2020 he won the first mixed team competition in the Continental Cup together with Mari Leinan Lund , Gyda Westvold Hansen and Simen Tiller .
