Leevi Mutru (born May 16, 1995 in Asikkala ) is a Finnish Nordic combined athlete .
Career
Leevi Mutru starts for Lahti SC . He began his international career in January 2013 as part of the Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec , Czech Republic , where he finished 27th in the individual and fifth in the team competition with the Finnish team (with Arttu Aalander , Ville Heikkinen and Ilkka Herola ).
On February 9 and 10, 2013 Mutru made his debut in Eisenerz in the Continental Cup , where he finished 43th and 36th. Since then he has competed regularly in the Continental Cup, with his best placement so far being two eighth places.
On November 29th and 30th, 2014 Mutru started in Ruka for the first time in the Nordic Combined World Cup and reached places 51 and 17. After many other World Cup starts, he reached a top 10 for the first time in January 2017 in Lahti with a tenth place -Result. His best result in the World Cup so far was fourth place together with Arttu Mäkiaho , Eero Hirvonen and Ilkka Herola at the team competition in Lillehammer on December 2, 2016.
With his participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun , Mutru started at world championships for the first time in February 2015. In the two individual competitions he reached places 32 and 35; in the team competition he finished ninth together with Eetu Vaehaesoeyrinki , Ilkka Herola and Jim Haertull .
At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , Mutru finished 31st and 23rd in the two individual competitions and came fifth in the team competition together with Eero Hirvonen , Ilkka Herola and Hannu Manninen .
At the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang , Mutru took 31st place in the Gundersen competition on the large hill and placed sixth with the team. He was not nominated for the second individual competition.
Mutru currently resides in Lahti .
