Sindre Ure Søtvik (born September 21, 1992 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined skier .

Career

Sindre Ure Søtvik made his debut in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup on January 15, 2011 in Klingenthal . In the Gundersen competition on the large hill, he took 18th place. Since then, he has regularly competed in this series of competitions, in which he has so far achieved two daily victories: the win on January 25, 2015 in Planica , Slovenia , was followed by another on January 15, 2017 in Kuusamo , Finland . The best results in the overall ranking were two fifth places in 2014/15 and 2016/17 .

He took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2012 in Erzurum . His best result there was a fourth place in the team competition, which he achieved together with Audun Hokholt, Øystein Granbu Lien and Espen Andersen .

On March 15, 2013 Søtvik made his debut in a competition in Oslo in the Nordic Combined World Cup . For the first time he reached the points on November 29, 2014 in Kuusamo when he was 24th. His best result so far in the World Cup was on February 4, 2017 in Pyeongchang with a 21st place.

In June 2020 Søtvik announced the end of his career.
