Ski jumping

Akhmetvaliyeva, who starts for the Almaty Ski Club , made her international debut in September 2015 in Râșnov . After starting two FIS races , she started in the FIS Cup and finished 13th and 15th twice in the points. Five months later, she was registered as a participant for the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2016 at the same place, but did not start. In October of the same year she started again in Râşnov and reached two top 10 placements as seventh and eighth.

At the 2017 Winter Universiade in her hometown of Almaty , Akhmetvalieva was able to jump to 12th place in the singles, before she finished eighth in the mixed doubles competition together with Sergei Tkachenko . Two weeks later she was part of the Kazakh team at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti . After she narrowly missed the competition in individual as the 38th and last in qualification, she started with the team in the mixed team competition. Together with Ilja Kratow , Valentina Sderschikowa and Alexei Koroljow , however, she only reached 14th and last place.

In December 2018 Akhmetvaliyeva was registered again for two competitions in the FIS Cup, but did not start in Park City .

Nordic combination

Akhmetvalieva started in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup for the first time on March 10, 2018 . In the 2017/18 season , she was one of the first female combiners in what was then the highest competition series. With two 13th places in Nizhny Tagil she collected her first Continental Cup points and at the end of the season reached 44th place overall. In summer she started in Oberwiesenthal in two competitions as part of the 2018 Nordic Combined Grand Prix . After she was tenth of only eleven starters in the first race, only ten athletes took part in the second race, with Akhmetvalieva finishing last. As part of the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined 2018/19 , Akhmetvaliyeva started again in two competitions in Steamboat Springs . It was the only two competitions of the season that she played and so Akhmetvalieva finished the season 44th overall.
