Jakob Eiksund Sæthre has so far only started in the Continental Cup on an international level (as of March 2020) . He made his debut on February 17, 2019 in Rena , where he finished 28th and thus scored his first Continental Cup points. His next competition starts did not take place until the following season 2019/20 , when he took his first podium in the Continental Cup with a ninth and third place when he competed in Oberwiesenthal on January 11 and 12, 2020. In the competitions of Rena two weeks later he won the first competition and was eighth in the second competition. After participating in further competitions, at the end of the season he finished twelfth in the overall standings with 311 points.
