Bösl competed for the SK Berchtesgaden . He was employed by the federal police . He contested his first international race in September 2004 in Ramsau as part of an FIS race. In March 2006 in Klingenthal , he took part in his first race in the B World Cup and was 48th in a Gundersen competition . In the next three years, Bösl competed in various series, such as the B World Cup, FIS races, the Continental and the Alpine Cup. Several times he was able to achieve top ten placements in the B World Cup, the best result was a fifth place in a sprint, achieved in December 2007 in Vuokatti . At the Nordic Junior World Championships in Zakopane in 2008 , Bösl came 14th in the Gundersen competition and won the gold medal in the team competition with Andreas Günter , Markus Förster and Stefan Tuss . In Štrbské Pleso he finished 50th in the Gundersen competition in 2009, but won the bronze medal behind the representatives from Norway and France with the team, which also included Fabian Rießle , Michael Dünkel and Johannes Rydzek . Since the Junior World Championships he has mostly competed in the Continental Cup, the best result so far was a second place in the Gundersen competition in Rovaniemi , achieved in March 2009 behind Matthias Menz . In his first three starts in the Nordic Combined World Cup in January 2010, he was always in the points. The best result was a 16th place in a Gundersen competition in Schonach .
