The German Championships in Nordic Combined 2009 took place on July 16 and 17, 2009 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Bavaria . The organizer was the German Ski Association , while the Bavarian Ski Association was responsible for the implementation. The competition facilities were the Great Olympic Hill and the Garmisch-Partenkirchen City Parcour with a lap length of 1.9 km. There was a Gundersen competition on the large hill and a team sprint.
Thuringian Tino Edelmann from SC Motor Zella-Mehlis became German champion just ahead of Eric Frenzel and was also able to win the team sprint together with Ronny Ackermann . Bavarian Johannes Rydzek , who showed the best jump of the day, became junior champion . The race director of the championships was Martin Brunner, the national coach was Hermann Weinbuch .

Individual (Gundersen 15 km)
The individual competition, in which all athletes born up to 1989 were admitted, took place on July 16, 2009 using the Gundersen method (HS140 / 15 km). There were 14 athletes in the ranking. Ronny Ackermann showed the men's best jump, while Michael Dünkel had the best running time.

Team sprint (4 × 2 km)
The team sprint took place on Friday, July 17th, 2009 on the large hill and over 4 × 2 km. There were 36 athletes registered in 18 teams, each with two combined athletes, of which only 14 were included in the ranking. The winning duo Ackermann / Edelmann was able to successfully defend the lead after jumping and thus win the championship title.
