The 41st German Nordic Ski Championships took place from January 29 to February 2, 1958 in Isny im Allgäu . The jumping runs were held on the Ibergschanze on the Iberg , which had its construction point at 70 meters and was improved by Heini Klopfer in the run-up to the championships . As the highest honor, the “Golden Ski” was given to the winner of the Nordic Combined as well as the winner of the 30 km cross-country skiing . After the German Ski Association canceled the 50 km endurance run, the 30 km cross-country ski run was the longest distance in the championships. Following the competitions, the DSV announced the German line-up for the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 .
