Heinz Hauser (born December 23, 1920 in Waltersdorf ; † November 22, 1996 in Reit im Winkl ) was a German skier who was active in ski jumping and Nordic combined .

Career

At the Olympic Games in Oslo in 1952 , Hauser took 15th place in the Nordic Combined and 54th place in the 18 km cross-country race. He was also part of the German 4 × 10 km cross-country relay, which reached seventh place.

For the 1953/54 Four Hills Tournament Hauser started as a special jumper for the first and only time. He reached 19th place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and thus at the end of 25th place overall.

At the 1956 Olympic Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo , Hauser finished 21st in the Nordic Combined.

On March 16, 1953, Federal President Heuss awarded him the Silver Laurel Leaf .

Hauser ended his career after the German Nordic Ski Championships in Altenau in 1957 . In his last competition, he just missed the medal ranks in fourth.
