The Swabian Skiing Association (SSV) is the largest association of ski sports clubs in Baden-Württemberg and is one of the four major sports federations in Württemberg .

When it was founded in October 1907, the number of members was 230. Today, more than 100,000 people in over 420 ski and snow sports clubs and departments are members of the SSV, which is the second largest state ski association within the German Ski Association after the Bavarian Ski Association .

In total, the associations in the SSV operate over 130 ski schools. Among other things, the SSV founded the training and performance center "Berghaus Schönblick" Söllereck in Oberstdorf , in which over 15,000 ski instructors have been trained to date.

The headquarters of the association is in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart . The Swabian Ski Association was divided into seven districts until 2016 and since its structural reform in 2016 has been divided into the following four districts, which organize the regional sports offer:
