Magnetic Man is a dubstep music project by British DJs Benga , Skream and Artwork.
Career
The three DJs got to know each other around the turn of the millennium. In Croydon they ran a record shop and label. It was not until 2007, after their solo careers had established themselves, that they came up with the idea of performing together under the name Magnetic Man . At first they tried to keep their identity a secret, but this quickly failed. The following year they performed in front of a large audience at the Roskilde Festival and in 2009 they signed a record deal with Sony Music .
Her debut single, I Need Air, with Angela Hunte as the singer, became an instant top 10 hit. The pre-single Perfect Stranger for her debut album came in at number 16. The album named after her project was a great success with number 5 on the UK album charts.
