The German Championships in Nordic Combined 2014 took place on October 4th and 5th, 2014 in Hinterzarten , Baden-Württemberg . The organizer was the German Ski Association , the organizers were the Hinterzarten Ski Club and the Black Forest Ski Association . The jumping competitions were held on the Rothausschanze in the Adler ski stadium. There was a Gundersen competition on the large hill and a team sprint. The competition of the juniors was integrated in the individual competition of the men.
German individual champion was Johannes Rydzek , who together with junior champion Jakob Lange also won the team sprint for the Bavarian Ski Association . The race director of the championships was Michael Lais, the national coach was Hermann Weinbuch . The competitions were held at the same time as the German championships in women's ski jumping .

Individual (Gundersen 10 km)
The individual competition took place on October 4, 2014 using the Gundersen method (HS108 / 10 km). 29 athletes were registered, all of whom were included in the ranking. Wolfgang Bösl showed the best jump of the day, but could not hold his lead and finally finished sixth. The best mileage was shown by Manuel Faißt who, however, had ruined all chances after the jump. German champion was Johannes Rydzek , who was able to prevail against Fabian Rießle in the final sprint .
