Michael Dünkel (born August 16, 1989 ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete.

Career

In the 2008/09 season Michael Dünkel made his debut on February 14, 2009 in the Nordic Combined World Cup . At the Gundersen competition in Klingenthal , he took 42nd place. In the same year he took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2009 . Together with Fabian Rießle , Wolfgang Bösl and Johannes Rydzek , they won bronze in the team competition behind the teams from Norway and France.

Dünkel collected his first World Cup points at his sixth World Cup appearance on March 5, 2016. In Schonach , he reached 30th place in the Gundersen competition. At the end of the 2015/16 season , Dünkel finished 59th overall with one point.
