Andreas Günter lives in Freiburg and starts for SV Baiersbronn . In October 2004 he competed in his first international junior races in Kranj and in January 2005 in Planica his first FIS races. In September of that year he achieved a single-digit placement in an FIS race for the first time in fourth place in Winterberg . In December 2006 Günter was able to contest his first races in the B World Cup in Steamboat Springs . He achieved this position several more times, but has never been better than 20th in the World Cup. Since 2008 Günter has mostly competed in the World Cup, at times also in the Continental Cup or other lower-class racing series. His best result in the overall World Cup so far is a 45th place, achieved in the 2007/08 season . He ended his career in 2013.
