Sebastian Reuschel (born January 15, 1988 in Erlabrunn ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete and ski jumper .

Career

Reuschel grew up in Johanngeorgenstadt in the Saxon Ore Mountains , where he became a member of WSV 08 Johanngeorgenstadt. He started his international career in junior competitions in 2002, before taking part in FIS races for the first time in 2003 . After rising performance, he started in 2006 in the B World Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2007 in Tarvisio , he won the silver medal with the team. In January 2009 he started jumping in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup. On November 28, 2009 he made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup in Kuusamo . On January 3, 2010, he won World Cup points for the first time in Oberhof with 29th place. With the two World Cup points won, he ended the season tied with Jason Myslicki , Taylor Fletcher and Gašper Berlot in 66th place in the overall World Cup standings. He finished the Continental Cup season in 33rd place overall.

Reuschel ended his active career in 2011.
