The 1995/96 Nordic Combined World Cup season began on December 6, 1995 in Steamboat Springs ( USA ) and ended on March 16, 1996 at Holmenkollen near Oslo . The number of World Cup events was increased to 13, especially since no Olympic Winter Games or Nordic World Ski Championships were held during the season .

The Norwegian Knut Tore Apeland won the overall standings ahead of the Japanese Kenji Ogiwara and the Finn Jari Mantila . He achieved three World Cup victories, with the victory in Trondheim being the last of his career. For Fred Børre Lundberg it was the last World Cup success of his career. In addition, however, another Norwegian drew attention to himself. Bjarte Engen Vik celebrated his first World Cup victory in Lahti .

With their victories in Steamboat Springs and Val di Fiemme , Todd Lodwick and Jari Mantila were able to win another World Cup for the USA and Finland after twelve years . Sylvain Guillaume and Hannu Manninen also achieved their first World Cup victories , although Guillaume stayed with this one.

World Cup final score and placements

The table gives an overview of the placements achieved through the season of the Nordic combined athletes who have received at least one World Cup point. The table only contains the placements up to 15th place, as only these are given in the result lists linked below. In the absence of information, it is therefore not possible to make a statement as to whether the athlete did not take part in the World Cup or did not reach places 1 to 15 on his own.
