The World Cup season 2020/21 the Nordic Combined (official sponsors Name: Viessmann FIS World Cup ) to November 27, 2020 Ruka start and expected to be on March 21, 2020 Schonach end. The season for the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf will be interrupted from February 23 to March 7, 2021.

This winter, for the first time, a women's series, which includes five competitions, will be held. The American Tara Geraghty-Moats is the favorite for the season. The top favorite and defending champion in the men's category is Jarl Magnus Riiber who has dominated the past two seasons .

Below the World Cup, the Nordic Combined Continental Cup 2020/21 will be the second highest competition series of the winter.

The DSV announced its squad allocation for the 2020/21 season in May 2020. The athletes were divided into five course groups. In addition to course groups 1a, 1b and 2a and the support team, 18 athletes were also nominated for course group 2b. After the 2019/20 season there were personnel changes in the coaching team, so that the previous jumping coach Ronny Ackermann was replaced by Heinz Kuttin .

Moreover pushes Danny Winkelmann to coach team of men to Ivan Lunardi and Pietro Frigo it. Lukas Runggaldier ended his career. Poland

The Polish Ski Association PZN nominated only one athlete, Szczepan Kupczak, for the A-Team. This was also due to the fact that with Adam Cieślar , Paweł Twardosz and Wojciech Marusarz three athletes ended their careers.
