Samy Claret Tournier (born May 20, 1999 in Chamonix ) is a French Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Samy Claret Tournier started on the international level for the first time on October 1 and 2, 2016 as part of the Nordic Combined Alpine Cup in Hinterzarten , where he finished 56th and 57th. Since then, further competitions have followed regularly. On February 10 and 11, 2018, Claret Tournier made his debut in Eisenerz in the Continental Cup , where he reached 42nd and 36th place. As a result, there are further Continental Cup participations; so far (as of March 2020) it has not yet achieved a top 30 placement.

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Lahti , Claret Tournier finished 31st in the individual competition over five kilometers; he did not finish the second individual competition over ten kilometers.

On September 4, 2019, Claret Tournier debuted in Tschagguns in the Grand Prix ; he finished in 29th place and got his first Grand Prix points straight away. In the course of the season, further participation in the Grand Prix followed in Planica .
