Lukas Greiderer started his international career at the Alpine Cup on January 30th, 2009 in Liberec , where he finished 23rd. After he continued to compete regularly in the Alpine Cup in the following years, his best result being fourth place in February 2011 in Kranj , he made his debut on February 12, 2012 with a 30th place in the competition in Eisenerz in the Continental Cup . In his fourth participation in a competition of the Continental Cup, on January 12, 2013 in Tchaikovsky , he was able to win his first COC competition. As a result, Greiderer made his debut a week later in Seefeld in Tirol in the Nordic Combined World Cup , where he finished 42nd.
In the 2014/15 season , Greiderer mainly took part in the Continental Cup competitions and had his most successful season to date. Due to many good results, including a first, two second and a third place, Greiderer won the overall standings with 528 points at the end of the season.
