The Nordic Combined World Cup season 1991/92 began on December 14, 1991 in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia and ended on March 13, 1992 at Holmenkollen near Oslo ( Norway ). During the season, were from 8 to 23 February 1992 Winter Olympic Games of Albertville discharged.

The season was dominated by the French Fabrice Guy . Fabrice Guy was able to win six of the eight World Cup races and at the same time set a new record of World Cup successes per season. With his victory in Štrbské Pleso ( Slovakia ), he was also able to win the first World Cup for France . In addition to his success in the World Cup, the French also won the individual race at the Olympics.

Klaus Sulzenbacher from Austria won the other two World Cup races and, after two first places, was second in the overall standings for the third time. His World Cup success in Lahti , Finland, was also his 14th and last World Cup victory of his career. In addition, Klaus Ofner achieved the first Austrian double victory with his second place in Lahti .
