Ralf Adloff (born January 15, 1974 ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete and today's DSV chief technician.

Career

Adloff, who trained at the Klingenthal base , was part of the national team in the Nordic combined in the 1990s. The Sachsenmeister from the 1991/92 season first attracted attention at the international level at the B World Cup in March 1994 with third place in Hinterzarten . He collected his first World Cup points in the winter of 1994/95 .

At the German championships in 1997 in Baiersbronn , Adloff was runner-up both individually and in team sprints with Thomas Abratis . After Adloff became fifteenth best DSV athlete in Oberwiesenthal at the end of December 1998 and achieved half the World Cup norm, he made his claim to a squad place at the 1999 Nordic World Ski Championships in Ramsau clear. In fact, he was eventually nominated for the World Championships, but only used in singles according to the Gundersen method . He finished 35th.

His best individual placings in the World Cup are the two thirteenth places he finished in March 1999 in Zakopane and in January 2000 in Ramsau. After the 2000/01 season, in which he mainly started in the second-rate B World Cup, Adloff ended his career. He completed his last competition at the German championships in 2001 .
