Sven Koch (born December 3, 1973 ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete .

Koch, who competed for the SC Motor Zella-Mehlis , made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on January 10, 1995 in Val di Fiemme . In his first competition he won his first World Cup points with 12th place. At the 1995 Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay , which took place shortly afterwards , he and the team took sixth place in the team competition. He finished the 1994/95 season in 30th place in the overall World Cup ranking. After a three-year break in the World Cup and a work in a B-World Cup race in Eisenerz , which he was able to win, he started again in the World Cup from November 1998. Despite good results and regular points, he could no longer achieve the placement from the 1994/95 season. His best individual placements were several 15th places. In addition, Koch was nominated for the 1999 World Championships , where he finished 44th in the individual competition. After the 1999/2000 season he ended his active career. At the end of the season in St. Moritz , he and the team reached fourth place and narrowly missed a place on the podium.
