At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin he achieved 37th place in Gundersen, 27th place in sprint and 8th place in the team competition together with Ladislav Rygl , Pavel Churavý and Aleš Vodseďálek . At the Czech Championships in 2007 he won gold in the individual and silver in the sprint. At the 2007 Winter Universiade in Pragelato , he won gold in the Gundersen and bronze in the sprint. A month later he started again at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo , but could not achieve any top placements again. In the World Cup he was able to achieve several point wins in the sprint and finished the 2006/07 season in 21st place in the overall sprint world cup standings. A year later he also made the leap into the points in the Gundersen. He finished the 2007/08 season in 26th place overall in the World Cup. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 he was again unsuccessful. At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , he reached 20th place in the individual on the normal hill and 25th in the individual on the large hill. In the team competition he reached 8th place together with Miroslav Dvořák , Pavel Churavý and Aleš Vodseďálek.

In summer 2010 Slavík competed in the Nordic Combined Grand Prix with little success . In the World Cup season 2010/11 started Slavík in Kuusamo with a 16th place in Gundersen on the large hill. In February, he participated in two competitions in the Continental Cup Nordic Combined in Swiss iron ore part, reaching it in the first contest fourth. At the following Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , he finished 11th on the normal hill on the Gundersen and seventh on the large hill. In the two team competitions he finished tenth and ninth with his teammates. In January 2012 he was able to climb the podium twice in second place at the Continental Cup in Klingenthal . In the World Cup he also achieved the first World Cup podium in February with third place. It remained his only podium in the highest competition series. At the 2013 World Championships in Val di Fiemme , he was no longer in the top 20 in either of the individual disciplines, and even with the team, he did not get past tenth place.
