Lars Andreas Østvik (born August 18, 1977 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined skier .

Career

Lars Andreas Østvik contested his first successful race in the B-World Cup of Nordic Combined in 1997. In total, he was able to win four competitions in this series of competitions as well as the overall standings for the 1997/98 season.

Østvik made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on March 21, 1999 in an individual competition in Zakopane, Poland . Here he took fifth place. His best season in the World Cup was the winter of 1999/2000 , in which he was 18th in the overall World Cup. That year, with a third place, he also achieved his only podium finish in the World Cup.

Østvik participated in a competition of the Nordic World Ski Championships 2001 in Finland's Lahti part. There he reached the 29th place in the Gundersen competition on the normal hill. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , he finished fifth in the team competition with Jan Rune Grave , Sverre Rotevatn and Kristian Hammer .

Lars Andreas Østvik contested his last international race on December 14, 2003 in Lillehammer .
